Nova Scotia PNP
NSNP & Atlantic Immigration Program — Your Gateway to Atlantic Canada
Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) — Overview
Nova Scotia is one of Canada's fastest-growing destinations for skilled immigrants, especially from India. Through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) and the federal Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), professionals in healthcare, information technology, and skilled trades can achieve Canadian permanent residence with lower CRS thresholds and faster timelines than traditional Express Entry alone.
Future Link Consultants — RCIC-authorized since 2001 (R506940) — has guided hundreds of Indian families through Atlantic Canada immigration. We evaluate your profile, identify the right stream, prepare your application, and support you every step until your PR card arrives.
NSNP Streams
Four pathways under the Nova Scotia Nominee Program
Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry
Targets skilled workers in occupations on Nova Scotia's Labour Market Priorities list. Candidates must have an active Express Entry profile. A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points, making an ITA virtually certain.
Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry
Designed for workers and international graduates who already have Nova Scotia work experience. Candidates must have at least one year of skilled work experience in the province and an active Express Entry profile.
Physician Stream
A dedicated pathway for licensed physicians committing to practice in underserved Nova Scotia communities. Requires a job offer from a Nova Scotia health authority and eligibility for medical licensing in the province.
Entrepreneur Stream
For business owners and senior managers seeking to establish or purchase a business in Nova Scotia. Minimum net worth of CAD 600,000 and investment of CAD 150,000 required. Initial entry on a work permit; PR nomination after meeting performance milestones.
Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
The Atlantic Immigration Program is a federal-provincial pathway covering all four Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador. AIP bypasses the Express Entry pool entirely — there is no minimum CRS score requirement. The key requirement is a valid job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada.
No CRS Score Needed
AIP does not require an Express Entry profile or minimum score — ideal for candidates with lower CRS.
Designated Employer Required
You must secure a job offer from an employer designated by the Atlantic province where you will work.
Settlement Plan Mandatory
AIP applicants must provide a settlement plan and demonstrate intention to live and work in Atlantic Canada long-term.
