The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores every Express Entry profile out of 1,200 points. IRCC then invites the highest-ranked candidates in each round, so your score — not just your eligibility — determines whether and when you get an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

Chase CLB 9 in language

Complete your ECA early
An ECA converts your Indian degree into a recognised Canadian equivalency and unlocks education points — start it before you enter the pool.
Target a PNP stream
Provincial Nominee Program streams look for specific occupations and profiles. A nomination adds 600 points, the single biggest lever available.
Add French where realistic
